We are a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that was established in 2004. and registered with the local government, Blantyre District Social Welfare and Blantyre City Council.
Our main objective is to improve the welfare of vulnerable groups in regards to the effects of HIV/ Aids pandemic.
The NGO is serving communities with emphasis on supporting orphans, vulnerable children, elderly and chronically ill patients with financial support as well as psychological support through counselling.

Samila has been at BAHASI since 2022. When Samila is older she wants to be a nurse so she can help people and to travel to Scotland to visit the volunteers. At school her favourite subjects are english and dancing. She enjoys playing and her best friend at BAHASI is Chisomo Jamal. Samila's favourite thing about BAHASI is the food and her favourite food is rice.
