The Children at Bahasi

Age: 18,

Annie has been at BAHASI since 2021. When she grows up she'd like to be a bank manager so she can save people from freud. Annie's favourite thing about BAHASI is the international voulenteers and going to school, where her favourite subjects are french and english. Annie also loves being a part of the choir and doing ballet. In the future she would like to visit France, India and the UK. Annie's brother, Longezo, also lives at BAHASI. Her best friends are Ndaona, Pempheo and Frank.

Age 5,

When Bright grows up he wants to be a driver, police officer or soldier. His favourite thing about BAHASI is being able to learn because he wants to be a good citizen. In Brights free time he enjoys playing with his friends. His best friends at BAHASI are Khumbo and Blessings. Brights favourite foods include sweets and rice.

Age: 5,

Charity came to BAHASI in 2022. When she is older she wants to be a doctor so she can help people when they're sick. Charitys favourite thing about BAHASI is the opportunity to go to school where her favourite subject is Chichewa. In her free time she loves eating and playing. Charitys best friends at BAHASI are Chisomo J and Pemphero. Charity's favourite foods are chocolate and biscuits. 

Age: 7, 

Chisomo has been at BAHASI since 2022. When he grows up he would like to be a policeman and visit England. His favourite thing about BAHASI is going to school where he loves maths. Chisomo's best friend at BAHASI is Joseph and his two younger brothers, Khumbo and Blessings.

Age: 7, 

Chisomo has been at BAHASI since 2023. She'd like to be a vet when she grows up, her favourite animal being a lion. Chisomo's favourite part of being at BAHASI is playing netball with her friends and praying. She hates fighting and violence and wants to have peace in everything she does. Chisomo's two brothers: Imraan and Bright also live at BAHASI.

Age: 6, 

Chisomo has lived at BAHASI since 2019. When he's older Chisomo wants to be a soldier to help people. His favourite thing about BAHASI is playing with the water at the tap and being with people. Chisomos best friends at BAHASI include Shaffi, Bright, Morris and Charity. Chisomo's 'uncle' (more like brother), Doubt, also lives at BAHASI. His favourite food is rice.
 

Age: 6, 

Chrispin has lived at BAHASI since 2020. When he is older he'd like to be a soldier because it's cool. Chrispin's brother, and bestfriend, Clever, also lives at BAHASI. His favourite thing about BAHASI is that he goes to school, where his favourite activity is counting numbers. Chrispin likes Blantyre alot, Kips shoprite being a highlight of the city.
 

Age: 16

Clever has lived at BAHASI since 2020. His dream job is to become a soldier so he can 'protect and defend his country'. Clever's favourite thing about BAHASI is going to school, where his favourite subjects are English, social, chichewa and life skills. In his free time Clever likes to draw and sing. Chrispin, Clever's younger brother, also lives at BAHASI. His best friend at BAHASI is Emmanuel B. His favourite foods include nsima, pizza, hot dogs, rice, chips and chicken.

Age: 15

Daudi has been at BAHASI since 2019.When he is older he wants to be lots of things such as an artist, an engineer, a pilot and an explorer. Daudi's favourite thing about BAHASI is the opportunity to go to school where is favourite subjects include science, social, English, life skills, expressive arts and Chichewa. In his free time Daudi likes reading books and drawing. His best friends at BAHASI are everyone. Daudis favourite foods are nsima, pizza, chips and chicken.

Age:  15

Emmanuel has lived at BAHASI since 2018. When he is older he wants to be a lawyer 'to fight for justice and to protect human rights'. His favourite thing about BAHASI is everything as he loves BAHASI. In Emmanuels free time he enjoys playing football and table tennis. His best friends at BAHASI is everyone. Emmanuels favourite foods include nsima with chicken and vegetables and rice.

Age: 10, 

Manuel has been at BAHASI since 2023. He would like to be a police man when he grows up because he wants to protect people from 'bad guys'. His favourite thing about BAHASI is getting the chance to explore. Manuel's best friend at BAHASI is Hope and his mother, Charity Liveson, also works and lives at BAHASI.

Age: 15

Everson has been at BAHASI scince 2017. When he grows up, he wants to be a pilot so he can explore the world, discover new places and visit Scotland. Everson loves BAHASI beacuse it has given him the oppertunity to fulfil his dreams. In his free time he enjoys playing the guitar and the drums. His best friends at BAHASI are Moses, Jamie (previous Project Trust volunteer) and all the boys including himself. Eversons favourite foods include nsima, chicken and futali.

Age: 8, 

Favour has been at BAHASI since 2022. When she is older she'd like to be a neurology doctor because she wants to help sick people. She also loves the Malawian Scenery and all the colours in the world; but hates fighting. Favour's favourite thing about BAHASI is the house and living with her friends. Favour's younger cousin (more like brother), Prince, also lives at BAHASI.  

Age: 15

Francis has been at BAHASI since 2018. When he is older he would like to become a bank manager so he can help people keep their money safe. He would also like to visit China because it seems cool and advanced. Francis' favourite thing about BAHASI is going to school where is favourite subject is social studies. He also really enjoys drawing. When asked about his friends at BAHASI he said everyone was his best friend.
