Over the last year and a half, BAHASI has been constructing a new girls hostel to ensure that our OVC's have a safe place to stay. Our current Hostel is housing 47 children, 2 international volunteers and 2 caregivers. The capacity of this building is much much less than what we are holding now, which means the children have limited space and privacy.
The new Girls hostel will have new bathroom facilities, new rooms for the caregivers and volunteers, and most importantly more space for our OVC's to eat, sleep and play.
