Women Empowerment Group

We currently train 20 women in our community to become qualified tailors with the hope that they will then have a stable income for their families.

They may even go on to start their own business once fully trained making them role models for other women to do the same. This is also a opportunity for them to meet individuals who have experienced similar life traumas as many are either widows or have been effected in one way or another due to HIV/AIDS.

They can talk to people that understand what they’ve gone through and can each share their own ways of dealing with such problems.
