Isaac Ligola – Executive Director
Isaac Ligola is the founder and director of BAHASI and has been commited to helping his community since 2004. Isaac is trained as a Homebased carer and is an amazing role model for the children at BAHASI.
Mercy Ngusengwa - Treasurer
Mercy has been working a BAHASI since 2018 and has been involved wih every section of the organisation, currenly the treasurer of BAHASI. Her favourite thing about BAHASI is meeting and getting to know the community.
Jicah Makiyi – OVC Officer
Jicah has worked as a teacher and the OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) officer at BAHASI since september 2024 and is a determined to help BAHASI flourish. Her favourite thing about BAHASI is the vibrant energy of the kids and learning from everyone constantly.
Chifundo Chimkonda – Head Teacher
Chifundo has been working as the standard 2 teacher at BAHASI since 2022 and became the headteacher in 2024. Her favourite thing about working at BAHASI is spending time with the kids, educating them and praying with them.
Jacob Hong-Sing - Deputy Director
Jacob has worked at BAHASI since September 2023 and is cureently studying to be a social worker along side his duties as Deputy. His favourite thing about BAHASI is seeing the kids flourish and creating connections with every single one of them.
Leonard Alabiyoni - Security guard
Leonard has been working a BAHASI since October 2024 and he loves how peaceful it is at BAHASI.
Edward Missih- Security Guard
Edward has worked a BAHASI since November 2024 and enjoys keeping the property and the kids safe.
Chifundo George Kaliwo - Deputy Headteacher
Chifundo has worked at BAHASI since Novemeber 2024 and has previously worked as a primary school teacher in private schools around Blantyre. His favourite thing about working at BAHASI is reading to the kids.
Praise Zachariah - Home Based Care Officer
Praise has been working at BAHASI since September 2024 as a preschool teacher and the homebased care officer. Her favourite thing about BAHASI is the stories the children share.
